Not Your Typical Gold and Silver Hunt
While the Alabama Gold Camp might make you think of gold nuggets, this particular hunt offered a completely different historical thrill. The fields were hiding relics from a defining era in American history.
Instead of the typical gold and silver, the detectorists were challenged to find authentic Civil War bullets scattered across the fields. The excitement of digging up that very first piece of history is unmatched. “I got so excited when I dug my first one!” Vonda shared, highlighting the pure joy that comes with a significant historical recovery.
