The Legend Detector’s Findings from the Past Two Weeks

Two Week’s Finds:

Well, the last couple months have been real slow. Last week was so slow I didn’t post, but I added it to this week’s post. October 6 was my last silver coin…but today I finally found US silver coin #100! And 98 of them were found right here in Silverton, OR.

So, along with 78₵ in modern change I found war nickel #21, a 1914 wheat penny, a 1920S wheat penny, a 1947D wheat penny, a 1991 un centavo from Guatemala, a Chinese cash coin, a cool steamer trunk tag, a play dime, a toy police motorcycle (minus the front wheel), a Brinks key and a children’s photo locket.

I only covered about a third of the front yard of a new permission because it was late when I started and getting pretty dark. So I have a yard I will definitely return to in the near future. Hopefully 2026 will start off nicely! Happy Hunting!
