Took the Simplex out on its Maiden voyage. I went to a 1.5 acre lawn I’ve hammered for 30 years! It has treated me well. I only dig deep and somewhat iffy signals as the easy stuff is gone. I dug a small fired pistol case, pretty deep and checked the hole and saw gold. Gold backed cuff link, the only other keeper was an IHP. Not sure of the date yet. After 2 hours I feel the simplex is a very capable machine.
