A nice end to the year… Spent some time in the field and was rewarded with these fantastic historical treasures! It’s an absolutely stunning way to finish off a great year of hunting:
- Hammered Silver: Two beautiful medieval hammered coins, featuring the iconic cross design. Based on the visible script and designs, they are likely Edwardian pennies.
- Medieval Relic: An intricate copper-alloy strap-end or harness fitting, adding a unique piece of history to the collection.
My detector pulled these crisp signals among the usual modern trash, proving that patience and the right machine are key! Can’t wait to see what next year brings!
