Nokta The Legend Is By Far The Best Machine

Nokta The Legend Is By Far The Best Machine - Cover

I have been detecting for 20 years and have used everything from C-scope through most the Minelab multi frequency machines. I didn’t think anything would every beat the Explorer SE pro but the Legend is by far the best machine I have ever used.

I went out on crop stubble today:
Field mode
M2
Discrimination = Ground
Recovery = 5
Two tones
Turned the iron volume up a bit as I like to hear a little grunt. Turned the non-ferrous pitch up high (28).
Used auto ground balance.

I started with sensitivity at 28 but it was a bit chattery so went down to 25. New detectorists worry about losing depth. This is nonsense – I was digging small pieces of lead at over 8 inches including the height of the stubble in the air.

The machine was very stable, very user friendly and a real pleasure to use. I dug many targets – old worn coins, countless buttons, then…..the coin attached. Elizabeth 1st Groat dated 1573. Look at the detail on the bust side!!

The ferro check was a real pleasure today, especially with bits of coke / coal. With the hammered coin, it rang in solid at 35, but gave one bar of iron on the ferro check. I dug it – around 8 inches, and saw that the coin had corroded with some ionization – on the surface – so the ferro check was spot on.

I congratulate you and everyone at Nokta Makro on the Legend – it is now the market leader in its price range.
